Receiving Clerk : Freeport, IL
Our customer in Freeport, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Receiving Clerks to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for unloading materials, comparing quantities with orders, inspecting items, reporting damages, entering receipts into inventory, and ensuring accurate inventory reconciliation.
Responsibilities of the Receiving Clerk :
- Receive and unload incoming materials
- Compare quantities shown on packing slips to actual items received and original purchase order
- Note back / ordered items
- Inspect items according to instructions
- Report damaged goods to supervisor and arrange for any necessary returns
- Enter receipt of goods into computerized inventory records
- Use a dolly or carry small items to proper document or storage place within warehouse.
- Spot check inventory daily
- Reconcile computer records with physical inventory according to established schedule
- Perform other duties as assigned
Receiving Clerk Requirements and Qualifications :
Pay for Receiving Clerk : Starting at $15-16 / hour.
Receiving Clerk Benefits :
Type : 1st Shift, Long-Term Temporary.
Schedule : Monday - Friday from 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm.
