Stacker- 2nd Shift: Beloit, Wisconsin
Our customer in Beloit, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Stackers to work full-time on 2nd shift. As a Stacker, you will be responsible for efficiently stacking finished tubing onto pallets, ensuring proper organization and alignment, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace while meeting production targets in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities of the Stacker:
- Operate machines to roll paper into tubes, apply adhesive, and cut the tubing to the required size.
- Ensure that machinery is set up properly for efficient production.
- Package and stack the finished tubing on pallets in an organized manner.
- Maintain a fast-paced work pace to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Monitor machine performance, making adjustments when necessary to maintain quality and prevent downtime.
- Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies.
- Keep the warehouse area clean and organized, following safety guidelines.
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth production flow and resolve any issues as they arise.
- Assist in maintaining inventory and restocking materials as needed.
- Perform regular machine maintenance and cleaning as directed.
Stacker Requirements and Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Experience in machine operation or manufacturing preferred, but not required (training may be provided).
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to lift and move products (up to 50 lbs or more) and stack pallets.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting tubing to size.
- Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as required.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Safety-conscious and able to follow safety protocols in a warehouse setting.
Pay for Stacker: $17.50-$18.50/hour.
