Summary: Receives carrier deliveries into the dock and maintains inventory and coordinates shipment fulfilments based on inventory availability, customer deadlines, and company policy by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Receives deliveries from carrier companies.
· Inputs information regarding deliveries into the inventory database.
· Distributes products to appropriate storage area.
· Manages processes as well as flow of inspection and shipping of products, returns, and repairs.
· Reviews and addresses quality control issues.
· Responsible for stocking inventory upon receipt from quality control.
· Ensures inventory levels are within the organization’s minimum and maximum parameters.
· Performs weekly cycle counts of shipping material and product inventory.
· Prepares purchase orders for approval.
· Places purchase orders with the appropriate vendor.
· Responsible for following up with placed orders to ensure completion and delivery.
· Identifies list of materials to cycle count weekly.
· Responsible for counting materials.
· Compares physically counted materials against system information and researches and resolves discrepancies.
· Reports unresolved count discrepancies.
· Ensures online product shipments occur within company standards and deadlines (same day processing).
· Collaborates and communicates with customer service when applicable for inventory and shipping concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Ensures product delivery within partnership date windows and processes to confirm shipment.
· Reviews customer routing guides on weekly basis to ensure continued compliance.
· Responsible for ensuring outgoing freight costs are cost effective according to company guidelines.
· Coordinates product and supply deliveries.
· Responsible for creating international shipping invoices for custom processing.
· Coordinates with the director of operations on fill shortages and needs.
· Maintains monogramming quality control issue log.
· Reviews monogramming quality control issue log with the director of operations on a weekly basis.
· Manages and maintains physical inventory locations.
· Responsible for training/coaching/mentoring subordinate staff members.
· Responsible for ensuring staff compliance, quality control, and safety.
· Maintains strict confidentiality.
· Delegates authority and responsibility as appropriate.
· Demonstrates effective leadership, communication, and managerial skills.
· Performs EDI data transfers.
· Maintains corporate website tacking log.
· Performs end of day shipping transfers.
· Communicates inventory levels to online partners.
· Maintains a clean, neat and member-ready area.
· Performs and accepts other responsibilities as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

· Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
