Role: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid - 3-4 days on-site 8a-5p)
Duration: 2 months to start
Compensation: up to $30/hour W2 (Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K)
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a critical project at one of our clients. This 2-month contract role offers an opportunity to contribute to an essential initiative within a dynamic finance team. The position requires expertise in Oracle Cloud (Fusion) Accounts Payable and the ability to manage high-volume invoice processing with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process full-cycle Accounts Payable (A/P) transactions to ensure accurate and timely payment processing.
- Review electronic invoices for accuracy, correct vendor details, and proper coding.
- Handle a high volume of invoices, matching them with PO numbers and verifying contract pricing.
- Work closely with the purchasing team to resolve PO and receiving discrepancies.
- Reconcile past due balances and address vendor inquiries efficiently.
- Ensure timely mailing of checks following computer run dates.
- Perform additional accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have Oracle Cloud (Fusion) Accounts Payable experience.
- 3 years of Accounts Payable experience with an Associate’s degree in Accounting OR 5 years of experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
- Proficiency in office machines, including 10-key pads, printers, copiers, and scanners.
- Ability to type at least 45 WPM and use 10-key by touch.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
