Job Description: As a Warehouse Associate at our grocery store, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to support the warehouse operations. You will work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and teamwork are essential. Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments of groceries, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
2. Stocking and organizing inventory in designated storage areas, following proper rotation procedures to maintain freshness.
3. Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently, according to customer specifications and delivery schedules.
4. Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
5. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to sanitation and safety guidelines.
6. Assisting with inventory counts and audits to ensure accurate stock levels.
7. Collaborating with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production goals and meet customer demands.
8. Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies to ensure compliance and consistency in warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and perform physical tasks repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail for accurately counting and recording inventory.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Certification or willingness to obtain certification for operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
