What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hourly Manager position at HuHot Mongolian Grill?
The position works closely with management behind the scenes and on the floor with day-to-day tasks, including: -Effectively lead as Manager on Duty while other management is not present. -Follow inventory control procedures to ensure quality and reduce food waste. Assist with labor management. Includes effectively managing breaks and cutting staff when needed. -Prepares all required paperwork in an organized and timely manner. -Controls cash, receipts, & reports by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with company policies and procedures. -Demonstrates a leadership style that creates a positive working environment. -Develop guest relationships and monitor guest satisfaction. -Regularly touches tables. -Proactively handles staff and guest requests quickly, fairly, and with care. The ideal candidate would have superior project and task management skills and professional conduct. Solid verbal and written communication skills are a must. Must be able to effectively communicate expectations to staff. Fills in where needed to ensure service standards & efficient restaurant operation. Complies with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards.
