Job Summary
Workflow Coordinator
Review planned shop orders for the machine shop and optimize the flow of the planned work through machine work centers. Track shop order progression through the machine shop to maximize efficiency. Track customer and machine assembly orders to ensure timely completion. Analyze work center loading, coordinate with planning to balance production and small batch job requirements.
WCO Lead
Develop expertise to lead and facility Greenbelt and Kizan projects. Maintain new project portfolio and facilitate selection and tracking. Assist with other greenbelt projects.
Develop as a Kaizen skill coach to lead teams required to develop and implement lean methodologies into production process. Lead Kaizen projects for Equipment manufacturing.
Essential Functions
- Utilize planning Tools to organize work flow, Excel, BPCS, Dispatch report.
- Track and update Green Belt Projects in the WCO data base.
- Organize and facilitate Kaizen Lean events.
- Deliver plan to optimize work flow to maximize OT&C and manufacturing Efficiency.
- Effective verbal and written communication. Ability to communicate at all levels.
- Assist organization with project selection and prioritization.
- Hands on participation with Green Belt events and projects. Facilitate team building, organizational leadership, and change management.
