Job Summary
Our Accounting and Finance Career Program is an accelerated leadership development program designed to provide top college graduates with a path toward key business leadership roles. This program offers a unique opportunity to rotate through various financial functions, receive mentorship from experienced finance professionals, and develop the skills needed to excel in a career at Huhtamaki.
Program Structure:
- Duration: 12-18 months training
- Rotations: 2-3 rotations across different financial functions (e.g., Treasury, Tax, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Business Units, Internal Audit, Corporate Accounting)
- Training: Comprehensive onboarding and continuous professional development
- Mentorship: Pairing with senior finance leaders and mentors
- Evaluation: Regular performance reviews and feedback sessions
Essential Functions
- Acclimate to Huhtamaki, industry, and financial processes
- Directly interact with and learn from leaders throughout the company
- Engage in specialized training and development opportunities
- Partner with cross-functional business leaders to assist on strategic projects
- Identify areas to improve and streamline financial processes
- All other duties assigned by management
Job Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- Strong aptitude in analytics, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and motivation to succeed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and quick-witted with data management software
Preferred:
- Willingness to relocate and an eagerness to develop leadership competencies at other U.S. locations
Environment
- Hybrid work environment that mixes in-office and remote work to offer flexibility and support to employees. In-office hours are set by group Manager.
- Work hours are usually 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. but could require after hours and weekend work to complete projects on time
- Travel as needed; up to 10%
