Marketing -Job Overview
- Responsible for the development of promotional materials for target group mailings
- Responsible for institutional and programmatic promotion
- Coordinates the design and implementation of print, digital, and radio ads for all departments
- Manage all Hui social media platforms, including Facebook, X (Twitter), Vimeo, YouTube, Pinterest, and Instagram
- Create and distribute the Hui email newsletter (bi-monthly) and manage contact list
- Draft and distribute press releases promoting Hui events and programs, and serves as the main media contact
- Negotiate printer costs and mailings
- Responsible for updating and maintaining Hui No’eau website
- Coordinates the distribution of Hui postcards, publications, and flyers
- Responsible for new and existing photographs of Hui events, programs, etc. to be used for marketing purposes.
- Coordinates and implements calendar listings and advertisements in publications
- Works with the Development Director to design year-end fundraising campaigns
- Works with the Weddings & Special Events Manager to develop content for marketing and promotion of the Hui’s property rentals.
- Marketing & Grant requirements: Works directly with the Development Director to deliver marketing information and meet grant deadlines
- Create, edit, and order business cards for all employees as needed
- Re-order Hui letterhead and envelopes as needed
- Submit check requests for websites used ie. Squarespace, Constant Contact, Meta, Vimeo, etc.
- Maintain donor and community relations with the utmost professionalism
- Submit check requests and invoices to accounting in a timely manner
- Keep current marketing spreadsheets up to date
Art Affair Fundraiser
- Budget monitoring and support

- Provide administrative support for Hui fundraising events
- Monitor special events and attend appropriate meetings of the special events committee
- Provide staff support for the actual events
Skills
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms and marketing automation tools.
- Strong understanding of print advertising strategies and execution.
- Excellent research skills with the ability to analyze data effectively.
- Experience in budgeting for marketing projects.
- Knowledge of advertising principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with product management processes.
- Proficient in analytics tools to measure campaign success.
- Solid experience in social media marketing across various platforms.
- Basic knowledge of HTML for email design and web content management.
