Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Bilingual Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily logistics and warehouse operations. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse associates, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate inventory control, and timely shipping/receiving activities. The ideal candidate must be fluent in both English and Spanish, capable of fostering clear communication and productivity among a diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and coordinate a team of warehouse associates to meet daily logistics targets.
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurate, documented, and completed on time.
- Monitor employee performance and enforce safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation.
- Enforce compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and warehouse procedures.
- Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to provide guidance, resolve issues, and relay updates.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and order processing.
- Support the onboarding of new employees and conduct safety briefings.
- Collaborate with supervisors, drivers, and vendors to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Identify areas of improvement and recommend process enhancements.
- Report damages, discrepancies, and operational issues to upper management.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual – Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written) is required.
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse/logistics experience with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, shipping/receiving, and inventory practices.
- Experience with WMS or similar systems is a plus.
- Able to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Forklift certification is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Flexible to work various shifts and weekends if required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
