Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain an accurate record of all transactions
- Update and maintain the general ledger
- Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system
- Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
- Documenting transaction details
- Ability to run reports and understand variances
- Notify senior staff of any accounting errors
- Recording financial transactions
Skills and Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate Might Also Have:
- Experience with accounting software
- A very strong understanding of accounting
- Experience with Excel and Word
- Strong spreadsheet skills and working with data
- 2 years of proven experience
- Excellent attention to detail with strong interpersonal skills
- A positive, can-do attitude is a huge plus!
Experience:
- Microsoft Excel: 2 years (required)
- Accounting software: 2 years (required)
- Accounting degree, or a smart individual who knows accounting processes
