JOB DESCRIPTION
Financial Controlling And Analysis
- Manage projects to ensure the accuracy and integrity of balance sheet and profit & loss accounts.
- Prepare detailed analyses on accounts receivable, including aging reports and recommendations to improve collections.
- Support the revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and presenting key findings to management.
- Oversee timely and accurate financial reporting for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, identifying key drivers impacting performance.
- Provide analytical and operational support for ad hoc financial tasks and initiatives.
- Assist the accounting manager in the financial audit process by providing required reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies, identifying any areas for improvement.
- Support regulatory reporting, including IPEDS and other compliance-related filings.
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of monthly/quarterly financial closing packages for business users.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations.
- Lead initiatives to enhance financial reporting and analysis processes, improving efficiency and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial systems and reporting workflows.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- 2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or auditing.
- Strong experience with Oracle, Finance Force, and ERP systems.
- Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
