Director, Organizational Development
For over 100 years, Hardinger Integrated Logistics has provided efficient, technology-driven transportation and warehousing services for its clients. The Company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Organizational Development and Human Resources leader to join their growing team. Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Organizational Development serves as a key member of the Leadership Team, developing strategies to assist affiliated companies to fulfill their mission and vision. The Director of Organizational Development is responsible for achieving objectives related to recruitment, retention, engagement, productivity, customer service, and profitability.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Human Resources:
- Oversight of recruitment, including branding, selection, hiring, and onboarding of new team members.
- Responsible for training, development, & succession planning initiatives, including individual career development, leadership development, succession planning, and mentor programs.
- Responsible for performance management, including job descriptions and expectations, employee reviews, and serves as counsel to the leadership team for performance related issues.
- Leads engagement initiatives directed at reducing turnover and improving team performance.
- Oversees Human Resources functions, including, but not limited to policies and procedure, legal compliance, and unemployment compensation.
- Achieves performance through the development and implementation of systems & process along with working with leaders from affiliated companies.
Financial:
- Responsible for preparing and submitting annual wage, incentive, and total compensation benchmark report to the CFO.
- Develops recommended annual increases and works with the CFO to execute.
Administrative:
- Supports team members with answering benefit questions, completion of FMLA & short-term disability paperwork, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field required.
- . leadership/management experience in a Human Resources or Operational Leadership role.
