School-Based Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Location: Russell County School District
Position Overview:Human Performance and Rehabilitation Centers (HPRC) is seeking a full-time School-Based Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join the team serving the Russell County School District. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a school setting, following the academic calendar with approximately 180 working days per school year. The role requires 32-36 hours per week, with spread pay options, travel and mileage reimbursement, and potential for additional hours in an outpatient clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, identify areas of concern, and collaborate with IEP teams to support student academic success.
- Plan and implement effective treatment programs focused on sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities.
- Provide consultation and education for teachers and staff to enhance fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, attention, and executive functioning skills in students.
- Ensure all documentation complies with state regulations and district standards for accuracy and timeliness.

Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in good standing.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and organized with a passion for working with children in an educational environment.

- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans with clear goals and measurable outcomes.
