About the Position
We are seeking a skilled and passionate attorney to join our litigation team as a Staff Attorney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for litigating complex civil cases in Federal Court, including Section 1983 and FOIA cases.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement case strategy with in-house attorneys.
- Conduct research and analysis on complex legal issues.
- Draft and argue motions, briefs, and appeals.
- Represent HRDC in court and negotiate settlements.
Requirements:
- A minimum of five years post-graduate experience as a full-time lawyer or judicial clerkship.
- Admitted in good standing to the Florida Bar (or District of Columbia if working remotely).
- Excellent writing and analytical skills, with experience litigating § 1983 cases.
