Humana is dedicated to transforming health outcomes of Medicaid members using Humana’s technology and analytics. The Humana Enterprise Operations Enablement (EOE) - CPSS Data & Analytics – BI (Business Intelligence) team is a high performing team focused on data management, data visualization and data science supporting Humana’s Service Operations. The Data & Analytics team is seeking a Manager, Business Intelligence to solve complex business problems and issues for the Medicare organization using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. The Manager, Business Intelligence works within specific guidelines and procedures; applies advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems; receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines approach, resources, schedules, and goals.
The Manager, Business Intelligence will lead a team of engineers who will design and develop data models, create data visualizations, describe the tools, technologies, applications and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present an organization's raw data in order to create insightful and actionable business insights into actionable plans. Decisions are typically related to resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives involving own departmental area. Requires cross departmental collaboration and conducts briefings and area meetings; maintains frequent contact with other managers across the department.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead a team of Senior and Professional level Business Intelligence Engineers through the various stages of inquiry resolution to include root cause analysis, impacts, action planning and execution. This will include documentation and tracking progress, producing adequate responses, and providing support for the Medicaid business.
- Analyze Medicare enrollment data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction utilizing healthcare and other related data, provide clear and concise analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and / or individual performance.
