Community Engagement Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Community Relations and Donor Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in planning, organizing, and implementing strategies to secure new community partners/donors while cultivating existing relationships.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Development team member engaging Community Partners and Chambers of Commerce

· Participation in all major fundraisers

· Participation in volunteer committees

· Assist with coordinating logistics for community partner events

· Help identify recruitment opportunities for new community partners

· Organizes community outreach programs and coordinates special events that will influence public opinion by promoting the mission

· Establish a monthly pick-up route for community partners

· Acts as a liaison to help support community partners and donors

· Maintain timely and accurate records on individual donors and potential donors to support ongoing activity and future fund raising—including plans, tracking, and reporting

· Uses social media to promote upcoming events while highlighting our community partners

· Follow strong ethical practices

· Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Education:

· Bachelor's Degree preferred

· Project Management experience required- at least 2 years

· Development and fundraising experience required- at least 2 years

· CRM database experience required

· High energy personality required

· Event Coordination required

· Excellent customer service skills

· Strong ability to follow through

· Ability to multi-task and work efficiently

Strong attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
