Donor Engagement Specialist

Humane Indiana is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization. Our mission is aligned with protecting pets, preserving wildlife, and supporting a nurturing connection between animals and people.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Development team member engaging in all major event committees

· Entering donor gifts in Virtuous CRM

· Execute donation acknowledgement

· Update various data including donor information

· Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to donor activities

· Work with other team members to create a phenomenal donor experience.

· Manage mailing lists and preferences

· Day to day tasks include- ordering supplies, copying, scanning, and answering phones

· Prepares mailing labels and “Thank You” letters

· Participation in all volunteer fundraising projects

· Follow strong ethical practices

· Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Education:

· High school diploma: two years of college preferred

· Data entry experience required- at least 2 years

· CRM database experience required

· Reliable, conscientious, organized self-starter and personable with good phone skills.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs… particularly proficient in Excel

· Exhibits professionalism in dealing with various constituencies

· Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.

· Strong attention to detail

· Reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
