What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Engagement Specialist position at KIRPC Head Start?
Must have a certification or degree in social work, human services, family services, or counseling. Experience working with families preferred.
Full time position 35 hours per week Monday – Friday 8:00-3:30/50 weeks per year. Benefits include extremely low-cost medical/vision/dental insurance at only $40 per month for employee premium and up to $130 per month for full family coverage. Holiday pay, bereavement pay, and paid time off included also.
Duties: assess families’ strengths and needs, goal setting with families, provide referrals to families as needed, assist in classroom/kitchen as needed. Driver's License required to travel between sites.
