What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Engagement Specialist and Spanish Translator position at KIRPC Head Start?
Must have a certification or degree in social work, human services, family services, or counseling. Experience working with families preferred. Part time position 28 hours per week/48 weeks per year with holiday pay and bereavement pay. Duties: assess families’ strengths and needs, goal setting with families, provide referrals to families as needed, assist in classroom/kitchen as needed, and translate verbal and written communication in Spanish to children and families. Driver's License required to travel between sites in Newton, Jasper, and Pulaski counties. Company car is provided.
