Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for the shelter, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations as the receptionist. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, as well as excellent communication abilities.
Part Time Receptionist/Administrative Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, manage email, open mail and put in appropriate mail slots. -Receive payments for adoptions, surrenders, donations
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Provide support such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Handle customer inquiries and provide accurate information or direct them to the appropriate person
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Part Time Receptionist/Administrative Experience:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of front desk procedures and customer service principles
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Skills:
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
