What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Director of Property Management position at HumanGood Community Support Center?
Under supervision of the Senior Director of Property Management, this position is responsible for providing overall property management support and oversight for all West Coast Affordable Housing communities. Will provide regional property managers with guidance and assistance to ensure communities are brought up to Human Good Affordable Housing standards and in line with all state and city regulations. In addition, this position will assist the Senior Director of Property Management when and where needed to support Affordable Housing communities throughout the U.S. locations.

Pay range is 120k - 125k
On-Site Presence required at least 50% of the time
Below are some, but not all of the responsibilities that will be performed by this role:
- Work with the Senior Director of Property Management to provide quality supervision of regional supervisors ensuring they are providing financial and physical oversight of all the communities assigned.
- Work with the Senior Director of Property Management to provide resource information and assistance to Regional Supervisors on a daily basis.
- Works alongside Senior Director of Property Management, Director of Facilities and Director of Compliance to create and ensure efficiency in our practices, evaluate procedures, and ensure teams are working cohesively and collaboratively.
- Adequately delegates responsibilities that create responsibility from team members. Monitors and ensures standards are met for high functioning and results measured communities. Ensures properties are operated in a manner consistent with HumanGood’s policies and procedures.
- Works with VP of Operations, Senior Director of Property Management, Compliance team and regional supervisors to ensure that leasing of new construction projects is timely and well supervised.
- Helps to monitor vacancy and delinquency of communities; works alongside regional supervisors to ensure communities are performing in these areas
- Works with external departments to include IT, Marketing, Communications, Asset Management and Finance
- Works with Senior Director of Property Management and Regional supervisors in preparation of annual budgets, long range capital improvements, and staff development
- Works with Director of Facilities and regional supervisors to ensure annual 5-year planning capital budgets are completed timely and executed up annually based on available reserve for replacement funds.
- May attend Board of Directors meetings for managed communities in geographic region; assists Senior Director of Property Management and VP of Operations with client management and relationship building. Serves as a liaison between Boards of Directors (BOD) and HumanGood with assistance from the regional supervisor and administrator by professionally representing HumanGood in board meetings and ensuring follow up and implementation of pertinent items discussed or requested by the BOD.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- High School Diploma
- 10 or more years affordable housing property management experience
- Minimum of 5 years regional supervisory experience in affordable housing
- Fair Housing Certification
- Certified Professional of Occupancy or Certified Occupancy Specialist Certification
- Accredited Resident Manager and National Compliance Professional Executive Level Preferred
- Candidate must be located in CA. Travel will be 50%
