Civil Litigation Defense Attorney

HumanHire is partnered with a top ranked Global Law Firm to find a Litigation Attorney to join the firms Labor Defense and Civil Litigation Group in Downtown NYC.

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes cases and contribute to shaping strategies in a collaborative environment.

Pay : $150-175K Base Salary plus Bonus

Hybrid Flexibility : 2-3 days remote weekly

Responsibilities :

Handle all aspects of litigation, including case assessment, strategy development, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations.

Defend employers and businesses in federal and state courts, arbitration, and administrative proceedings, such as the EEOC and DOL.

Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive pleadings, briefs, motions, and correspondence.

Lead and manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions.

Counsel clients on labor and employment compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution strategies to minimize exposure.

Qualifications :

2 years of Litigation Attorney experience

Labor and / or Civil Litigation experience preferred

Bar Admission in NY
