Job Details
Responsibilities
- Managing a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end.
- Representing clients in a wide range of civil defense litigation claims.
- Working closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects.
- Regularly handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials.
- Conducting extensive legal research and analysis.
- Drafting pleadings, motions, memorandums, briefs, and other court documents.
- Working with clients and other firm members to investigate facts and law of cases and develop strategies and arguments for presentation of cases.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar.
- A minimum of 2 years of civil defense litigation experience.
- Proven background in trial, discovery, depositions, legal research, legal writing, and drafting motions.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
