Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Glass Fabrication Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating components and assemblies according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards and precision. This role requires a strong understanding of production techniques, organization, and handiwork precision.
Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day production schedules for all phases of fabrication: cutting,, foiling, soldering, framing, and finishing
- Maintain and optimize material ordering and troubleshoot inventory tracking
- Conduct quality control for all outgoing products
- Collaborate with designers and production to troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Document fabrication processes and maintain records of completed work.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in production lines for architectural glass fabrication or stained glass
- Proficient in traditional techniques including glass cutting, foiling, and soldering work
- Competence in using hand tools effectively for various tasks.
- Familiarity with CAD and Illustrator software for design interpretation, a plus
- Mechanical knowledge to understand complex assemblies and components, a plus
- Experience in standard machining practices, a plus.
- Kiln forming or fusing experience, a plus

Pay: $23.93 - $25.98 per hour
