Join HumanKind as a Treatment Foster Care Recruitment Specialist and play a central role in the TFC program by helping recruit, screen, and train foster parents across the Danville area. Your work will directly support our mission by ensuring compliance with standards, matching foster homes with children, and cultivating relationships with foster families and community stakeholders. This is an ideal role for someone with a background in social work who is driven to make a difference and ready to foster growth and stability in our communities.
Success In This Role Looks Like:
- Recruiting, screening, and training foster parents by building and nurturing relationships in the Danville, South Boston, Martinsville, and Collinsville areas.
- Implementing marketing strategies and networking opportunities to reach prospective foster parents.
- Conducting interviews and in-home assessments, producing clear and accurate documentation.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance for all foster parent records and program activities.
- Providing continuous guidance to foster families, supporting them in meeting compliance and development goals.
- Maintaining detailed and timely case information, reports, and documentation.
- Leading Pressley Ridge training sessions and supporting foster parents’ ongoing education.
- Responding to all communication within 24 hours and addressing incidents promptly as required by regulations.

- Willingness to become a certified trainer in Pressley Ridge Treatment Parent Training
Requirements for Consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field.
- Two years’ experience providing casework services to children and families.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to complete and maintain all required background checks and drug test.
