The Position
The Plant Controller will report to the CFO and become the 5th member of our Accounting & Finance Team with primary responsibilities in the areas of Inventory and Fixed Asset Management. In addition, you will participate in building out Humble’s accounting and control environment. This will include further refinement and development of processes and controls for daily transactions, the monthly closing and reporting processes, In the next year, we anticipate retiring Quickbooks Enterprise and upgrade to a full ERP system which you will participate in implementing including the integration of various systems such as Shopify, Amazon, ShipStation, Sales Force, and eZCom EDI. You will build out the inventory control environment, improve fixed asset processes, and work with Production, Fulfillment, and Sales to further develop impacted business processes. You will work with the CFO to develop a suite of management and board reports.
Inventory & Fixed Assets Management
- Maintain records in accounting system for inventory and fixed assets ensuring that assets are recorded to the proper accounts, reconcile balance sheet accounts to individual listings & valuations.
- Responsible for monthly depreciation of fixed assets, amortization, and inventory allocations.
- Support the Accounting team in the monthly closing process through the timely and complete delivery of information related to inventory and fixed assets.
- Manage periodic physical asset counts and reconciliation between actual and book. Any discrepancies must be analyzed and proposed to solve in accordance with accounting standards and company policies
- Manage inventory & fixed asset acquisition & disposal process.
- Evaluate, improve and maintain processes for inventory and fixed asset management. Identify errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
- Perform standard costing analysis and allocations

· Ability to present financial and other data effectively to drive understanding and decision making
Education and Experience Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting
· CPA or CMA
· 3 years of experience in public accounting or industry accounting department
