Who We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Permitting Specialist to join our team. This role is vital to the success of our projects and is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You'll serve as the liaison between our internal teams and city jurisdictions, helping bring our signage projects to life by ensuring all permit requirements are met accurately and on time.
A Day in the Life of the Permitting Specialist:
- Submit and complete permit applications through various platforms (online, in-person, or via email) to multiple municipalities and jurisdictions
- Collaborate with sales, design, estimating, and project management teams to collect and prepare all technical documentation for permit submittal
- Assemble, review, and finalize permit submittal packages to ensure compliance with local regulations and avoid costly review delays
- Monitor and track permit statuses across multiple projects
- Proactively communicate updates with internal teams and external contacts
- Maintain organized permit records and filing systems
- Build and maintain positive relationships with city officials and permitting departments
- Previous permitting experience is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Team-oriented with great interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication
- Confidence in dealing with city personnel and interpreting permitting guidelines
- A high degree of accuracy and professionalism in all communications and documentation

Compensation DOE:
- Salary Range: $25 – $30 per hour

- Prior experience in permitting, signage, or construction is preferred
