Barback/Busser

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback/Busser to join our dynamic team. The Barback/Busser plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring that the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized, and supporting the serving staff by cleaning tables, taking out trash and filling ice bins. This position requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders in preparing drinks and serving customers efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Stock and replenish supplies such as liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, and ice as needed.
• Remove empty bottles and trash from the bar area promptly.
• Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Bus and clean tables.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their needs.
• Support the overall cleanliness of the establishment by bussing tables when necessary.
• Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food handling practices is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• A customer-focused attitude with an understanding of hospitality principles.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 15 per week
