Overview
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.
Direct Support Staff provide supportive services to assigned members in our community. We help our clients to live as independently as possible. Activities include: assist with shopping, cooking, getting ready for work and attending activities such as paint night or bowling league.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Assist with behavior management and intervention strategies
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
- Assist with activities of daily living and personal care
- Implement long-term care plans tailored to each individual's needs
- Work collaboratively with a team to ensure the well-being of residents
Requirements
- Experience in direct support or caregiving preferred
- Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ability to provide first aid when necessary
- Willingness to lift and assist residents when needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required and must be 18 or older
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overnight shift
- Weekends as needed
