Job Description
The ideal candidate will oversee all recreational activities at Hume Christian Camps, including Youth Camps, Adult Retreats, and Guest Groups. They will provide direct leadership to Aquatics and High Adventure Specialists, as well as the Activities Administrative Assistant.
Main Responsibilities
- Staff Supervision: Directly supervise and lead the Aquatics and High Adventure Specialists, as well as the Activities Administrative Assistant.
- Safety and Risk Management: Develop, implement, and enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize risk for participants and staff.
- Budget Management: Plan, manage, and execute budgets for programs and activities.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the inspection, maintenance, and repair of equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Permit Management: Obtain and maintain necessary permits and licenses for activities and events.
- Team Development: Foster a positive team environment through communication, coaching, and mentoring.
Requirements
- Certified Pool Operator or Aquatic Facilities Operator Certification (2-day class).
- CPR/First Aid o Lifeguarding Certification/Instructor Certification.
- DMV Class B Licensing.
