Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee product innovation and launch initiatives. This role is responsible for facilitating the planning, execution, and evaluation of complex innovation and renovation projects. The Project Manager will manage project scope, timelines, and resources while fostering a culture of excellence and disciplined execution. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product innovation, cross-functional project management, and a passion for bringing new products to market.
Key Responsibilities
Lead multiple product innovation and launch projects from ideation to commercialization, collaborating with R&D, marketing, supply chain, finance, and other key stakeholders.
Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle through the QUEST process, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Foster cross-functional collaboration by aligning project goals, timelines, and deliverables across departments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, vendors, and third-party partners.
Plan and allocate human and financial resources effectively, identifying and addressing bottlenecks to keep projects on track.
Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies , and proactively address issues to minimize impact on project timelines.
Continuously improve project management processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as time-to-market, budget adherence, and post-launch success to ensure continuous improvement.
Stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies to drive innovative product solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred .
Minimum of 3 years' project management experience , particularly in product development, innovation, or product launches.
Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in fast-paced environments, preferably within FMCG .
Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools like Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in risk management and problem-solving under pressure.
PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications preferred .
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget requirements.
