We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Energy Project Manager to lead the development and execution of energy projects. This role requires strong leadership, client engagement, and a deep understanding of the energy market. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically proficient, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:Lead energy projects from inception through completion, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, and budget.
Drive business development initiatives focused on expanding the energy market portfolio.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support long-term business growth.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and training to project teams and junior staff.
Participate in strategic planning and align project objectives with market and company goals.
Oversee the selection, staffing, and performance of multidisciplinary project teams.
Manage internal workflow to maximize efficiency, profitability, and service quality.
Coordinate and lead meetings, presentations, public engagements, and industry events.
Prepare and manage project contracts, including change orders and addenda.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated client service delivery.
Supervise billing processes and ensure timely collection of project fees.
Make critical decisions impacting projects, clients, and overall market operations.
Set and enforce high-performance standards, holding team members accountable to goals and success metrics.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited program) or equivalent technical experience.
10 years of experience in energy-related projects or the energy industry.
Proven expertise in energy project design, implementation, or field operations.
Experience with national/regional energy clients and Energy Service Companies (ESCOs).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams across complex projects.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or accredited energy professional preferred.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required.
CEM (Certified Energy Manager) certification preferred.
