We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest standards of hospitality and service in our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, kitchen operations, and team leadership. As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests while maintaining a positive work environment for staff.

Duties

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high culinary standards.
• Implement and enforce food safety protocols to ensure the quality and safety of all food served.
• Lead and mentor staff through effective team management practices, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Conduct interviews and hire qualified personnel to build a strong team.
• Develop training programs for new employees in food handling, customer service, and operational procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering of supplies to ensure efficient kitchen management.
• Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance profitability.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
• Handle customer feedback, issues, and service recovery with professionalism.
• Communicate with ownership regularly through reports and updates.
• Open/close the store as/when needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hospitality management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling practices, and culinary techniques.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Experience in interviewing and hiring staff members effectively.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the restaurant industry.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
