About the Role:
As the Senior IT Specialist, you'll collaborate closely with the Vice President of IT to shape technology strategy, execute enterprise-wide IT projects, and help build our internal IT team and infrastructure. This position requires a broad technical background, strong leadership capabilities, and the flexibility to support a dynamic environment with evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic input on IT goals and initiatives in alignment with organizational objectives
- Lead and support enterprise-wide IT projects across multiple locations
- Mentor junior IT staff and contribute to team building and process development
- Oversee systems administration including workstations, servers, networks, and databases
- Implement automation and systems integration solutions
- Manage vendor relationships and technology contracts
- Contribute to AI/data analysis initiatives and IT security/compliance efforts
- Travel to project sites as needed
- 5 years of IT experience with broad technical expertise
- Leadership experience in IT teams or enterprise-level projects
- Proficiency in one or more of the following areas:
- Systems Administration
- IT Service Support
- Programming/Automation
- Vendor Management
- AI or Data Analysis
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel and work in diverse operating environments
