Huna Totem Corporation is seeking a Senior IT Specialist to support and help lead the next phase of our digital and operational growth. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic, hands-on IT professional to make a lasting impact across a diverse portfolio of entities and projects.
As the Senior IT Specialist, you’ll collaborate closely with the Vice President of IT to shape technology strategy, execute enterprise-wide IT projects, and help build our internal IT team and infrastructure. This position requires a broad technical background, strong leadership capabilities, and the flexibility to support a dynamic environment with evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic input on IT goals and initiatives in alignment with organizational objectives
Lead and support enterprise-wide IT projects across multiple locations
Mentor junior IT staff and contribute to team building and process development
Oversee systems administration including workstations, servers, networks, and databases
Implement automation and systems integration solutions
Manage vendor relationships and technology contracts
Contribute to AI/data analysis initiatives and IT security/compliance efforts
Travel to project sites as needed
5 years of IT experience with broad technical expertise
Leadership experience in IT teams or enterprise-level projects
Proficiency in one or more of the following areas:
Systems Administration
IT Service Support
Programming/Automation
Vendor Management
AI or Data Analysis
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Willingness to travel and work in diverse operating environments
