We are seeking an Insurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a medical or clinic setting.
## Duties
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Maintain electronic medical records using various systems such as Chirotouch
- Assist with medical administrative tasks including verifying insurance information and processing payments
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations when handling patient information
- Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow at the front desk
-File and follow-up on insurance claims
## Skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of clinic operations
- Experience with electronic health record systems like Chirotouch
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of medical records management and maintaining confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
