What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Coordinator position at Hunt Electric?
Hunt Electric, Inc. and ICC are seeking a full-time Inventory Coordinator to join our team within the ICC department of Hunt Electric.
The Inventory Coordinator position requires self-motivation and self-management of work with strong interpersonal skills to meet with users in a face-to-face environment. This position will work on a team with project managers, technicians, accounting, other ICC employees, and outside vendors to coordinate finished goods, receive materials and equipment, and streamline the inventory and shipping/receiving process.
Major Duties:
- Coordinate the shipping of finished goods.
- Coordinate the receipt of materials and equipment.
- Organize and manage the materials inventory for the division.
- Coordinate closely with project managers and lead technicians.
- Attend coordination meetings within the division.
- Create, manage, and provide the necessary reports regarding material handling to the appropriate level of management.
- Ability to create building kits and the ability to follow directions.
- Able to provide additional support as needed to the manufacturing floor to meet deadlines.
- Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Positive attitude, hard working, and a team player.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to learn to operate a forklift.
- Previous experience working in logistics.
- Knowledge of building part kits.
- Create thinking with the ability to create and implement improvements to the logistics process.
- Highly organized.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, off on Fridays.
