Position Summary & Duties : We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team, with a focus on disaster recovery efforts and experience with FEMA PA, FEMA HMGP, and HUD CDBG-DR. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage construction projects from start to finish, including overseeing contractors and ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Develop and implement schedules, budgets, and project management processes for disaster recovery projects.
- Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with project stakeholders, including owners, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure that all construction activities are conducted in a safe and compliant manner, and that all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations are met.
- Manage the procurement of materials and equipment needed for construction projects.
- Oversee all aspects of project closeout, including final inspection and resolution of any punch-list items.
