Automotive Sales BDC Representative Responsibilities:
- Communicate customers via internet leads in reference to vehicle inventory and ascertaining their area of interest leading them to an appointment time with sales staff
- Plan each day’s effort and results. Establish priorities for the most important things to do each day in conjunction with BDC manager expectations
- Maintain follow-up system for encouraging repeat business
- Keep informed of recent developments in the dealership market and auto marketplace overall
- Stay informed of inventory on hand, educating yourself on various vehicle attributes
- Consistently display excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility with scheduling in order to support BDC team members including other dealership departments in the event of special sales, meetings, and management requests
Requirements:
- Internet sales, call center, or sales experience is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Excellent computer and phone skills are a must
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to stay organized and complete multiple phone calls and emails to customers and schedule sales appointments
- Must be able to work cooperatively with the team
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
