Position Overview
Hunter Douglas is currently hiring Production Associates for our Salt Lake City Fabrication Plant. What you'll do
Must be able to work well in team environmentExperience working in a similar production/manufacturing field is preferredProduction associates will be required to follow verbal and written instructions, processes and procedures to cut, assemble, inspect, or package components of various sizes, shapes, and materialsFollow all safety requirements including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Lifting requirements may vary between 1-50lbs depending on materials and sizes of blindsMust be comfortable working on a stationary area, bending, lifting, walkingUse of various hand and power tools will be requiredMust be able to meet daily production targets and standards - Training will be providedMust have good hand/eye coordination
Who you are
At least 1-2 years of experience working in a similar fieldHave the ability to understand and use a tape measure Have basic computer literacyAbility to adapt to an ever changing environment Team playerHave the ability to cross train as needed in different areas
