We are looking for a graphic designer specializing in print content to join the Design Team within our full-service marketing department. The right fit for us will be an excellent problem solver that can quickly adapt to the high-tech automotive equipment industry and leverage their past experiences to hit the ground running. They will have strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
What you will do:
- Conceptualize and design content for a variety of uses brochures, posters, packaging, fabricated displays, brand campaigns and photography.
- Take ideas from concept to visual execution through working with cross-functional teams using Adobe Creative Cloud software.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, copywriters, video producers, and IT/engineering groups to understand goals and requirements.
- Review and proofread designs to ensure accuracy, identify errors, and make necessary corrections before final printing.
- Prepare files for printing while ensuring accurate colors, resolutions, and file formats.
- Manage project timelines and workflow individually, within the team, and with external partners from start to finish ensuring deadlines are met.
- Manage information and task status within collaboration software Microsoft Office 365, project management software, etc.
- Maintain brand consistency across all designs and printed materials.
- Keep up to date with the latest design trends, techniques, and printing standards.
Additional Qualifications Include:
- 4 years of professional design experience in an in-house team or agency environment.
- Must be able to demonstrate project planning and organization skills.
- Proven experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
- Knowledge of printing processes and production requirements.
- Ability to clearly present project ideas and concepts to stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and personal accountability with ability to take constructive criticism and feedback.
- Ability to work cross-functional with all levels and teams of the organization.
- Strong focus on print media, but requires being well-versed in fundamentals of graphic design
