Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Regional HR Manager to oversee human resources functions. This role will be responsible for implementing HR policies, driving talent development initiatives, and providing guidance on employee relations and compliance matters. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong understanding of HR best practices, capable of fostering a positive work environment while aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures in accordance with company standards and local labor laws.
- Offer strategic HR support to regional leadership on key areas such as employee relations, performance management, talent development, and retention strategies.
- Collaborate with regional managers to address employee performance concerns and implement effective action plans.
- Design and oversee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth opportunities.
- Lead and manage career path initiatives within the region.
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment regulations and legal requirements within the Central Region.
- Work closely with the corporate HR team to implement organization-wide HR initiatives.
- Analyze HR data and trends to identify challenges and recommend improvement strategies.
- Travel to regional locations as needed, with a minimum of one visit per month.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies, best practices, and labor laws.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships across all organizational levels.
- High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
