Position Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the General Manager, the Leasing Account Manager is responsible for achieving lease sales goals. This includes maintaining the current customer base and expanding it through various outside sales methods. The role requires independent judgment, time management skills, and the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years of related experience in relationship selling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple competing tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
- Valid driver’s license (meeting company insurability standards); Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to sit, drive, and occasionally lift/move up to 15 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Essential Duties:
- Achieve lease revenue and customer retention goals
- Assist in preparing an Annual Business Plan
- Develop and implement a sales and marketing plan for PacLease offerings
- Conduct sales calls through telemarketing, mailers, customer visits, and other methods
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and current customers
- Provide timely sales reports to management
- Assist in establishing PacLease rates for equipment types
- Interact with the Service Department to ensure lease equipment is maintained according to standards and DOT regulations
- Adhere to company credit policies
- Maintain a customer/prospect sales database
- Assist with the collection of past due invoices when needed
- Promote teamwork, cooperation, and a safe work environment
