Position Summary:
As a Parts Outside Sales Associate, you’ll be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with existing customers while actively prospecting for new business. Your goal is to ensure customers receive the highest quality service and products to keep their operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers while seeking new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with counter personnel to manage parts orders, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Provide customer feedback and ensure any special pricing needs are met.
- Coordinate parts sales and service with the team to ensure seamless operations.
- Complete reports, time sheets, and expense reports accurately and on time.
- Maintain and drive the company vehicle, performing basic maintenance and ensuring it’s always in top condition.
- Attend training seminars to stay ahead in the industry and continue learning.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required).
- 1-2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license (must meet company insurability standards).
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications and Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist certification preferred.
- Ability to travel across county and state lines.
