What are the responsibilities and job description for the Division Engineering Manager position at Hunting Energy Services?
- Partners with division management to advance product innovation and leverage synergies across Hunting Titan business units.
- Manages the product development cycle from concept to launch, including specification, design, validation and certification testing.
- Provides oversight of concurrent engineering projects and manage resources to ensure their accurate and on-time completion.
- Oversees the change control process to ensure that engineering modifications are correctly evaluated and defined prior to implementation.
- Interfaces with quality department to analyze quality design issues and support investigations.
- Partners with manufacturing to minimize production costs while driving profitability.
- Works with marketing and technical services to effect timely documentation development.
- Communicates and presents to Division management on the status of the projects or product modifications.
- Builds organizational capability through coaching and mentoring of the existing engineering team and the selective recruitment of top talent.
- Manages Hunting Titan’s intellectual property portfolio.
- Defines and implements drafting and documentation standards commonly utilized in the oilfield industry.
- Participates in the engineering due diligence for acquisitions and/or mergers, as required.
- Ensures safety and environmental compliance in engineering operations.
General Requirements
- Shall have at least 10 years’ experience with oilfield downhole Products Company.
- Experience leading a team of engineers in the design, development and launch of new products.
- Manufacturing experience in a perforating organization is preferred.
- High initiative level.
- Must possess good organizational skills.
