Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Consultant will develop a strong understanding of the business segments they support and build solid ties to internal and external experts to become a trusted, strategic advisor to the team.

This Talent Acquisition Consultant role will be responsible for recruiting Customer Experience Bankers, Financial Relationship Bankers, Branch Managers and Branch Resource Colleagues within our Branch Banking segment.

In concert with leadership teams, will devise recruiting roadmaps and strategies to present Huntington's story to potential candidates, using an inclusion-focused lens. The Talent Acquisition Consultant leverages market intelligence and the relationships, both internally as well as externally, to create a pipeline of exceptional talent.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong, collaborative business and peer relationships; leverage those relationships to drive results
• Develop strong candidate profiles by clarifying the required job skills and competencies of top performers
• Source and attract top talent for each position, effectively assessing a candidate's fit to the company, team, and position
• Present strengths and weaknesses of leading candidates, and overcome objections in the hiring process.
• Challenge the status quo, continuously seeking opportunities to improve while embracing change
• Develop collaborative relationships with your peers, leveraged their expertise, and share your best practices
• Drive to achieve the best results; persevere and use metrics to analyze own performance
• Understand the external factors that impact the supply of top talent, as well as the broader world of business
• Remain curious and tenacious, looking under every stone and overcoming every obstacle to find top talent.
• Demonstrate flexibility, organization, and ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic culture
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor
• Proactively anticipate needs beyond general completion of tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Three years of full-cycle recruiting
• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent experience of 6 years in full-cycle recruiting in place of a degree
• The ability to lead/manage managers through the process
• Great relationship skills
• Desire to think creatively, build community partnerships etc.
• Strong communication skills
• Accountability
• A mix of agency and corporate recruiting experience a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understand federal and state laws and regulations relating to employment
• Possess a demonstrated expertise in MS Office, Internet Tools, and Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday) to research, network, and implement inclusion-based recruiting strategy development.
• Possess an intellectual curiosity to learn new approaches and technologies to improve the recruiting process and make it more measurable and efficient
