Using independent judgment, provides professional level support in developing and managing project plans for various sized projects. This includes identification of appropriate solutions, development of implementation schedules and overseeing/managing resource work efforts and allocation to achieve project goals. Serves as practice and process resource to client departments in the implementation of assigned projects. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required. Preferably in Healthcare, Information Technology or related field. EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: A minimum of two years' experience in Information Technology, healthcare or related field. Formal project management training strongly preferred. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Preferred: Current Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Current Project Management Professional (PMP) Current Process Improvement certification such as Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Current Change Management certification such as Prosci SKILLS: Excellent communications skills (verbal and written); able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in a team environment, leading project team members at varying levels within the organization Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques and tools (such as MS Project) Skill in the use of project management software. Skill in providing/presenting project and practice information and concepts to a project team. Ability to guide project team(s) in resolution of problems, concerns, challenges. Familiarity with IT (information technology), to include a range of hardware, software, and/or infrastructure.Worker Type:
