This role involves operating computer-based systems, preparing reports, and developing presentations that analyze training or operational data for Navy fleet operating personnel, including flight crews, commanding officers, and operations personnel. Responsibilities include analyzing exercise operations, sensors, tactics, and weapons, as well as generating computer-based training materials for Navy operational units or systems.Position requires flexibility to work occasional non-standard work hours and work weeks of more than 40 hours to meet business, customer, and contractual requirements. Additionally, position requires flexibility as duties and responsibilities may be adjusted to meet business, customer, and contractual requirements.Responsibilities Plan, brief, conduct and debrief military training exercises.Recognize tactically significant events and enter into Range Information Management System.Utilize recorded data to create time-critical exercise debrief products.Assist Exercise Coordinator in planning military training exercises and scenarios.Efficiently integrate multiple electronic sources of data into a single digital file for face-to-face or remote exercise debrief.Conduct face-to-face briefs and debriefs of large groups of personnel.Operate and communicate via VHF, UHF and other tactical voice and electronic systems.Perform operations on San Clemente Island and tolerate prolonged exposure to dust.Lift and operate a system weighing approximately 45 pounds in an underway environment.Operate MANPADS and other EW systems onboard various range support boats.Minimum Qualifications 6 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s in a related field OR4 years relevant experience with a Master’s in a related field ORHigh School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.Proven Military Officer Sub-Specialist designation in AMW, USW, MIW, STW, SUW, or AW.Proven Military EW / ELINT operational experience.Proven Navy Enlisted Classification in EW / IO.Five (5) years’ experience in analysis of AMW, USW, MIW, STW, SUW, AW, and / or EW / CRY exercise operations.Six (6) years’ experience in Navy EW / CRY, AMW, USW, MIW, STW, SUW, and / or AW operations.Experience operating computer-based systems and preparing reports and presentations for Navy fleet operating personnel.Knowledge of Navy operational and administrative procedures and directives.Must be a US citizen and possess an active US Government (DoD) Secret Clearance for this position.Ability to travel (about 30%).Preferred Requirements Candidate with SIGINT or Electronic Signals Database Manager background.Familiarity with Signal Analysis databases.Five (5) years’ experience in EW / CRY systems including radar, over the horizon, satellite, and other tracking systems.Physical Requirements Minimal mobility, dexterity, or coordination required to operate common business machines.
