HII's System Integration group is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our Integrated Training Systems Software Development team! This is a full-time position located in the Virginia Beach, VA area. As a Software Test Engineer you will play a critical role as part of the Integrated Training Systems in the design, development and deployment of the Advanced Training Domain (ATD), a shipboard combat system trainer.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.

Bachelor-level degree in an Engineering Discipline

3 years of experience in systems engineering

Working knowledge of Unix

Previous C software experience

Ability to develop a task plan and then execute the plan

• Security certification (or must obtain within 3 months of hire).
• Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain a clearance)
